Hi! I’m Melissa. I happen to be a Clinical Psychologist, though this site is not intended to be clinical. However, there are aspects of Positive Psychology throughout as this seems unavoidable. I am hoping to share some of my knowledge and continued exploration into finding true joy and learning to live mindfully in the present. So much of our daily struggles come from being stuck in the past or anxious about the future. I invest a lot of my downtime into yoga, meditation, exercise, attempts at eating healthy, essential oils, and generally spreading positivity through a healthy lifestyle. I am hardly perfect at this and fall into negativity traps all the time. This is my site to be held accountable to break old patterns and to inspire others to do the same. When we focus on gratitude and love we find ourselves surrounded in just that. In order to find true joy, we must first learn to be present in our lives, appreciating the sights, sounds, and smells of each moment.
