Hi, I’m Maddie, and I’m currently a third-year doctoral student in Clinical Psychology at Midwestern University.
My clinical training has allowed me to work with diverse populations across different settings. I began my work in the field as a Registered Behavior Technician, supporting children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. I later gained valuable experience working in an inpatient psychiatric hospital, where I provided care to children and adolescents navigating acute mental health challenges. This setting deepened my understanding of the profound impact of trauma on individuals and their families.
My additional clinical interests include the field of women’s health. I am passionate about supporting women through life transitions and health-related challenges, particularly in areas such as infertility, menopause, and sexual health. I strive to create a warm, validating, and collaborative space where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered.
I am passionate about working with adolescents and adults, and I am committed to tailoring my therapeutic approach to meet each client’s unique needs. I take a trauma-informed approach and draw from a range of evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I believe in working collaboratively with clients to find the strategies and tools that best support their goals and personal growth.
