Sometimes the experiences we carry cannot be fully expressed through conversation alone. Art therapy offers a creative pathway to explore emotions, process life experiences, and reconnect with yourself in a gentle, meaningful way.

At Journey to Present, art therapy is not about artistic ability or creating a perfect piece of artwork. It is about using creativity as a bridge to greater awareness, healing, and self-discovery. Through expressive techniques, you can access thoughts and emotions that may be difficult to put into words.

Art can engage different parts of the brain than traditional talk therapy, allowing deeper emotions, unconscious patterns, and inner strengths to emerge in a safe and supportive environment. Whether you are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, life transitions, stress, or simply seeking a deeper connection with yourself, art therapy can help you process experiences with curiosity and compassion.

Each session is thoughtfully tailored to your unique needs. Some clients combine art therapy with traditional psychotherapy, while others use creative expression as their primary healing modality. There is no right or wrong way to engage in the process, only an invitation to explore what is true for you.

We are now accepting clients for virtual Art Therapy sessions. To book a session, please contact Isabelle at 773-744-9554 or by email at hello@isabellerizo.com
